The hotel is opened in 1993, the hotel was recently refurbished in 1999. The hotel is designed for foreign businessmen and provides all-around service and entertainment. |

The hotel is located in the Tianhe District, allegedly soon to be the city center of Guangzhou.
It is only a few minutes away from the Eastern Train Station and 40Km from the New Baiyun Airport.
It is also close to the major shopping areas and commercial district. The hotel is not for the exclusive use of foreign businessmen.

A four star hotel, the ominously named Guandong Foreign Businessman Club, has a range of decent facilities, perfect for the foreign businessman. The business center is furnished with Chinese-state-of-the-art facilities including facsimile machines, internet ports, photocopying machines and more! The conference rooms and meeting rooms are suitable for all kinds of foreign businessman activities, from functions to board meetings. Ticket booking facilities are also available.
For those foreign businessmen who are tired of the hustle and bustle of climbing the career ladder, the Club has a variety of recreational facilities to ease the mind. These include a lobby lounge where your foreign businessman can release the boredom of sitting at a desk all day by sitting at the bar with a cocktail or beer. To work off that business belly, the Club's gym is equipped with computerized health equipment that will knock you back into shape.
After a wild singing and dancing session in the hotel's Karaoke/Nightclub, the foreign businessman can cool off with a calm swim in the hotel's pool. Finally, the foreign businessman can spend all of his hard earned cash at a branch of the CIT betting center of the Hong Kong Jockey Club that is within the hotel.
The hotel serves, like any true international business hotel, both Chinese and international food. The Ritz Palace is a deluxe Chinese restaurant whose specialty is fresh sea food, cooked live in the kitchen.
